After the Polar Plunge, Pioneer made a big splash by presenting a check for $20,000 for the Special Olympics -- $15,000 of it is set to support unified sports programs across the state, helping to ensure athletes won’t need to pay for their own equipment, such as jerseys, and also subsidize the cost of rental space to hold games.

RSS hires local people with various disabilities as part of its vocational work program.

Pioneer employees assembled 183 backpacks with over 4,800 items collected during the past month from its 22 branches.
